DEFINE YOUR BOUNDARIES, OWN YOUR SUCCESS!

Tuesday 30 October, 18:30 - 20:30 at Impact Hub Geneva

Often, I sabotage my success and happiness by not taking into account and not actively acting upon my own preferences, needs and values. I have discovered two reasons for doing this: not understanding myself well enough, and lacking the necessary strength to enforce my non-negotiables.

The point is that, at times, I don’t set healthy (mental/intellectual/emotional/ time) boundaries and thus fail to protect and take good care of myself.

Does this ring a bell? Does this apply to you too? If so, join in!

By attending this workshop you will discover:

  • What are boundaries
  • Why are they important to set
  • How to create your healthy boundary blueprint

What do you need?

  • A concrete example of a situation in which you have felt taken advantage of, not valued, not respected
  • A bit of bravery to open up in a safe space
  • Some compassion for yourself and the other participants
  • Willingness to collaborate
  • Willingness to share your feelings, discoveries and blueprint

What will you do?

  • Reflect on your preferences, needs and values within the example you have chosen
  • Create a blueprint of your healthy boundaries
  • Get ready to go out and act upon them

Price: 30 CHF for non-Impact Hub Members & 10 CHF for Impact Hub Members
Drinks and nibbles provided.

Want to learn more, ready "The Confidence Gap" by Dr. Russ Harris

More

In his book "The Confidence Gap: A Guide To Overcoming Fear and Self-Doubt"  Dr. Russ Harris presents a mindset known as psychological flexibility. It enables you to respond effectively to fear, anxiety and self-doubt.

Wondering if this workshop is for you? Consider:

Does your mind give you all sorts of reasons why you should not do what matters? Do you hear the voice inside your head whispering: “It is too hard”, “I am too busy”, “I am not in the mood right now”, “I’ve got no motivation” or
 “I am too tired”?

These are perfectly normal thoughts that all human beings have at times, yet what makes the real difference is how we respond to them.

By joining “The Confidence Gap” workshop, you will learn a new way to respond to them; a way to take all the power out of them, so no matter how negative the stuff in your head is, you can still take action to do what truly matters to you.
